Day 360: Meant to be

I am rewatching a Taiwanese drama today and the male lead says “The first time we meet is accidental. The second time is inevitable. The third is fate.”

Day 359: Reality

The most difficult part of life, to me, is to balance dream and reality. You can dream about many things but making things happen often involves slow routines. Being able to imagine the final goal and result definitely helps, but finding a way to dream through the boring and often cruel reality is essential.

Grateful for a bit of blue in the bland polluted white. Imagine not having windows where you live or work.

Day 358: Rare Blue Sky

I can’t find a good enough reason to explain my sudden hiatus in the project. But the truth is Hong Kong has left me very uninspired. The sky is constantly grey and flat. Or the even sadder truth is that life in general is falling back to that dull and lifeless routine.

But behold. A rare and bright blue sky yesterday. The rarity itself reminds me to treasure the little things and not take anything for granted. Grateful for life, happiness, families, friends, work, beauty… and so much more.

Day 357: Grace

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
– 2 Corinthians 12:9

Day 356: Exercise Often

I am writing this as I am carrying out my exercise plan with my fellow colleague. We decided to walk 30 min after work to a further bus stop every day as much as possible. As I get older, the importance of exercise gets more apparent.

Day 354: Miss to Mrs

This blog has accompanied my transition from graduate to work to graduate student. And also my transition from freezing cold Boston to dying heat Hong Kong. And now my transformation from a Miss to Mrs. Forever grateful for this journey.

I underestimated the work of a wedding. So here’s some catchup. Sunset from our villa in Thailand.
